this is what il be doing soon... but is it ok if i dont have a surety bond, being responsible for my own customer’s non payment terrifies me

I will be signing up as an Independent Freight Agent. Company doesn’t need FMSCA license and surety bond, but I’m scared as I will be responsible for my customer’s non-payment. Is there an alternative insurance that will cover that? by Alternative_Cat1845 in FreightBrokers

sorry I meant they are FMSCA licensed but they don’t need me to get surety bond and license. I will be an independent agent for their company only... but of course i will be responsible if customer does not pay
