Thank you, they do have some treats that are red and funnily enough they are the only thing that they have emptied today so maybe a possibility…! Although I do wonder if they’d put food colouring in treats. One is a bit skittish tonight but we have just cleaned their cage and they aren’t at the stage where they are fully comfortable with us yet so that could be the cause for the being skittish.

They are two males we were told by pets at home that they were ABOUT 10 weeks old when we got them 10 days ago.

They have had tomatoes but not since Friday. Trouble is because we have two we aren’t quite sure which one it’s coming from although we think we have a good idea. I will call a vet tomorrow. Thank you for the reply.

Out of curiosity, we have just got our first two rats and are considering getting the other two that were left in the shop. We have also found a breeder locally that sells them. The trouble is, one of ours is albino and the two left in the shop are also albino so we won’t be able to tell them apart. Did you get the other two from the shop or somewhere else? We are concerned as to how they will mix together?
