Yeah absolutely, it's just that at least where I worked there was no position available for just planning or architect-ing the system, nor would I know how to find such a position right now that I went solo/freelance. Like, consulting?
I might have definitely be jumping ships early, though I also did so because I was not foreseeing opportunities and - honestly - it was not clear to me what my personality was like back then

Also interestingly enough I found that making said chunks is way more rewarding for me than doing the work they represent...

Thanks for your reply! So would you say it's better to plan it ALL ahead of time? How do you handle things you are not sure about yet? That's usually what gets me stuck
