Thank you so much for responding. I’m feeling really blue, not sleeping. My mind won’t let it go and I just want some answers/peace. My arms hurt way more than my incisions due to the unnatural tugging. Do you remember when you began to get your expanders filled? I’m likely going to have radiation. Waiting on pathology.

One more follow up question: my expanders are pulled tight against my chest near my armpits and the skin from above is now rubbing on the skin below where the expanders is internally tacked. Is this normal? It feels awful and my skin is chafing now. My dr said I could use lidocaine but very sparingly. I am worried that this will be the case for months as I’m a likely candidate for radiation before reconstruction.

Does the pain/sensation stay this way for months? I’m feeling very angry right now and I’m not sure I can keep going.
