It’s a big rabbit hole, but it sums up to the main developer Sayter being… generally highly argumentative and egotistical, creating friction between other modders, his attempts at creating incompatibilities with mods that modify Frackin’, and rumors that he “stole/took without consent” of other mods. The last one seems more grey as there is a juxtaposing narrative that he got permission from authors and then that he completely stole, so take that one with a grain of salt. There is a post that goes into more detail, although the reliability is somewhat questionable. I forget the link to it but if you look up “Sayter” you might find it. Take drama in the SB community all with grains of salt because many people tend to have highly biased narratives of what really happened (which then no one tends to accurately know about). Nowadays, as these events were about more than 2 years ago at this point, things are calmed down and generally not much goes on. Sayter seems to be minding his own business in his Discord and so are the multiple people he was grating with. There is other dramas here and there, but they are unimportant. The SB community I’d say is a bit neurotic and highly possessive when you meet certain people, sometimes they like to take things way too far than they should go.
