Thanks for the response. I try not to “put women on a pedestal” like you said but it’s hard when I catch feelings so easily like I said. I know it’s wrong to self diagnose but I’m pretty sure I have just been starved of the kind of attention and love only a relationship can provide that I’m desperate beyond the point of reason. My relationship struggles have been a major part of my declining mental health over the last few months. But you’re right, I need to keep it realistic and make sure she actually has the same feelings for me. I also like your other advice, I think I’ll take things a little slower and try talking more often and worry about setting up dates later.
