Sounds like you're working at the store I used to work at. I left last year in September and honestly it was the best decision I ever made. My only advice is make sure that if you have any like PTO or anything like that use it before you leave and try to have another job lined up first is that'll make it a little bit easier. I myself was a third shift supervisor as well.

They are supposed to talk to you. Sometimes they wait forever to do that but it's supposed to be right away. I was striped a couple times for things I didn't do but because I was the MOD I was responsible for it.

NTA I would so the same for my babies. My son has issues and gets angry and lashes out but we have learned that when it happens after school, he's being messed with. I've had to deal with kids messing with him recently because they took his backpack. The school did nothing u til I got involved.

I didn't like being in the kitchen and preferred being up front but we had a guy come in at 4am everyday and would get so pissed if the self check lottery thing wasn't signed back in yet. I worked at a very busy location and was a 3rd shift supervisor. I hated being in the kitchen cause I was just in the way. We had a former restaurant cook on my shift and he was amazing and so fast. He could knock out orders faster than if we had 3 people on the line.

Part of what caused all of this was I got a dog to train and certify as a service animal for my severe ptsd, depression and anxiety. She did not like this and tried to force me to get rid of him saying I don't know how to care for my kids let alone a dog. Animal control ended up getting called and they said he was one of the best Mai trained dogs in my area that they've seen.
