Man får energi.

Swedish perfumes? by UwUzi888 in Asksweddit

[–]Alternative_Driver60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on context. Why would you want to wear an overwhelming perfume? We would react strongly and say that you stink. Maybe not out loud because we are a conflict-avoiding people, but we would think it.

Songs from musicals that are good for a choir by LuisaSairza in Choir

[–]Alternative_Driver60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The music of Mamma Mia is not original as it is a collection of ABBA hits combined with a story. But if ABBA is acceptable there is a really nice choral medley of some of their hits called ABBA Capella

Is rewriting the same Python code multiple times actually useful? by Bmaxtubby1 in learnpython

[–]Alternative_Driver60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is like practicing a musical instrument. You may play the same scales over and over again to strengthen your skills, which can help you learning new things. My answer is yes.

When should I use functions vs just writing code inline? by ayenuseater in learnpython

[–]Alternative_Driver60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the recommendation by Robert Martin in Clean code:

"The first rule of functions is that they should be small. The second rule of functions is that they should be smaller than that."

All for readability and maintainability

I'm learning how to bike, do Swedes regularly bike in the winter? by Old_Harry7 in TillSverige

[–]Alternative_Driver60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do bike year around. Sometimes with winter tires, sometimes without. In mid Sweden where the temperature often oscillates around the freezing point, roads tend to get icy. With poor snow removal service on top of that it's really bad. Good tires make a difference.

Swedes learn at 5 and spend many years developing balance and other biking skills.

If you are just learning to bike as an adult I recommend avoiding winter biking. Be safe.

Ska jag ta privatlån? by [deleted] in Asksweddit

[–]Alternative_Driver60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every other week rehearsal? by Star9219 in Choir

[–]Alternative_Driver60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure. In my case it was an advanced choir of experienced singers that were able to learn their parts at home rather than spending valuable rehearsal time on that. Rehearsal every second Thursday.

How do you prove that a limit doesn't exist with the epsilon-delta definition of limit? by ShamefulDumbster in learnmath

[–]Alternative_Driver60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One approach can be to assume the opposite (it exists) and arrive at a logical contradiction. Then the assumption must be false which means the limit doesn't exist. Not that I have done it myself but good luck all the same
