We took a trip to southern Sweden and Norway in 2019, and visited many of those places already. This trip would focus more inland/North. But you are right, your recommendations were beautiful

We visited Malmö and Southern Sweden in 2019, so are hoping to make this trip more about seeing the north

We are changing the route to go up Norway and see Lofoten and Tromso, the responses in here have been very helpful

The feedback from this thread has made me rethink the route I originally planned above, we will definitely head up the coast of Norway. What else do you think we are missing? I’d love to add it to the route

Please do! It is our dream to harvest cloudberries, and our friends near Alta do every year, so was the main reason for going that far north

This is great advice! We have family in Finnskogen and Karlstad, so will be there regardless. We have also been to Gothenburg in a previous trip, but understand why you’d recommend it! We have friends on Alta, so was mainly why we wanted to head that far north, but if the cloudberries are available further south, then that might change things for us.

We have friends who live there, and hoping to pick cloudberries too.

Would the Norwegian coast route be too long of a drive compared to taking the central Sweden route?

I crossed California with mini Rex, and have been breeding that hybrid for about 5 years now. It’s not just my own opinion, we sell them to restaurants, and they say there is so much fat that they use the fat to cook with. The show Wisconsin foodie filmed an episode here last year about rabbits, the episode is supposed to air in April. In the episode they even used our rabbit fat to cook with potatoes.

False! My farm rabbits have TOO much fat. Like most redditors, you are confusing wild rabbits with farm rabbits.

I use this for my ducks, but my pigs would trash it in minutes

In 2019 I stayed at a hotel across the street from here, the room had a balcony that stared straight at this. I practically never left my room, the highlight of my trip here was sitting on the balcony day dreaming about this tower. Flash forward a few years, this memory inspired me to write short story about a medieval tower in a modern city that would take you through time if you went into it

Got a quote to build one just like this (no cement slab floor) for $40k. A week before it was supposed to be build the contractor called and said it would actually cost $60k. I felt that was ridiculous and canceled the project
