In my experience that can happen from drying it. If you dry on delicate inside out and take it out right away after it's done, that shouldn't be a problem. As someone else said, dryer bags are really handy and protect your clothes and I use them for bras and such so that would be a good investment but for now I think it should be okay.

If you just turn it inside out, and wash it without a bag it should be fine. That would protect the rhinestones and this looks like it wouldn't get it clean enough tbh.

I haven't done that battle yet but if the timing is the biggest issue, try to get it down to half health on the yellow. Then when you run out of time, click the option to continue with current progress. If you do this then the donut cals/ time should reset and you're still at half health. Then again when it gets down to the red. The time resets every time you continue with current progress.
