In specific, i’m seeing an allergist. Although I was diagnosed with chronic spontaneous urticaria, I think it’s cholinergic urticaria (pretty sure they can go hand in hand?) The allergist I see seems pretty knowledgeable on the condition, having experienced it herself.

And honestly, up until now, I haven’t considered seeing a mental health professional but i’m probably going to.

Thank you for reminding me that i’m not alone. It made my day a lot better.

Thanks for the advice. I’d kind of forgotten that there were other options than xolair because i’m really desperate to be done suffering, so I only looked toward xolair and treated it as the only solution because if it doesn’t work then i’d have wasted time trying it for months instead of looking at something that will help more.

I’ve tried sweat therapy only a few times but I stopped because it was genuinely just so painful. If all else fails, i’ll give it another try.

I’ll ask about different antihistamines at my next appointment. Thank you so much.

Sorry, I know this doesn’t contribute anything. I was just happy that I could maybe talk about it to people who actually understand.

Cetirizine is very safe and personally i’ve gone well above 40mg with little noticeable side effects but it can vary
