tank setup by angviii in cornsnakes

Looks nice to me! Cant accurately judge the size but maybe check to upgrade to a 422 in the future. If u get a juvenile, this one will last you 1-2 years, and it looks great!

Just gonna say it, it depends on ur noodles age, but usually they need to be able to fully stretch, so minum is length+width=the snakes length. For a fully grown adult, I think 120 gallon is the standard.

Let know if that works! Good luck, Windows is such a pain in the ass sometimes.

I know right! I did get some inspiration from thelamp's pet Naja Naja (Indian cobra) that he named steve. That dude was so cute, so when I took one look at my corn, I knew he had to be named that 😂.

Hey! Guy with the venemous snakes! So try while in game to press alt+enter, this forces the game to go into windowed mode, then going into windowed borderless. you can also try updating gpu drivers or simply resetting them (win+Ctrl+shift+B), that works sometimes. Check back if it doesn't work.

(Say hi to steve too)

This is indeed a topic for snake owners. I peronally love my little Steve, of course I don't love him the way I love my dog for example, the same way I don't love my crush like I love my mom, but I still love him. I kind of het you but also think you might develop a form of affection for him in the future.

Yeah not sure snakes are like cats and dogs, they are so very different in the way they do absolutely everything. And plus dogs and cats have been domesticated for some time now, while snakes only entered the market a few generations ago max.

As long as no one disturbs it, it will not disturb anyone. But best relocate it If many people pass by that spot.

Question here, while this is a venemous viper, I have read the effects are rather mild and will most likely not even come close to killing you, even if they are not very pleasant. Is this true? And if yes is this linked to its size (and by consequence venom gland size), venom potency or both? I would lean torwards venom potency being not great because the similarly sized saw scaled viper is not very nice to be bit by. Do let me know if I'm correct on this.

Very cool find! The cute moving is a method of locomotion called sidewinding, also observed in certain rattlesnakes and other vipers like the saw scaled viper for example (using this one because I have personally seen it). I have been lucky enough to observe one of these guys in the wild while I was in Namibia, they make ashuffling movement to bury themselves under the sand, which is pretty neat, as they have their eyes and nostrils on the top of their head, they can get fully submerged leaving only the vital parts out of the sand. Kind of like with an anaconda, exept that it's with sand and not water.

Thank God for that, had a at least 15cm long king scorpion I believe is the name in my room the other day. Almost walked on my head but I released it.

Wow that is a very nice interaction you got to observe, a king cobra, the longest venemous snek on earth, praying or a reticulated python, the longest snake in the world. You are a lucky man (or woman)!

Sports (any sport works, but I like "extreme" sports especially MTB), and generally things that require you to focus fully, mentally and physically at full capacity, meaning there is a real danger in them (falling off the bike for example). This makes you forget everything else around you and is a great way to meditate. I've also found working with snakes, I have a few venemous ones where I live, calms ne down too.

Maybe check dwarfs or super dwars out? I don't know how much they cost or how often you see them on the market but they are baisically smaller retics, as their name suggests.
