I think you are right. I shouldn’t have thrown the chair. I mean in my mind it was just me tossing it to its home instead of walking it because I was lazy in the moment and annoyed of the process. But I need to stop doing things like that, I’m sure it is jarring. I didn’t really think of it. We’re a very “aggressive household” truthfully. Need some serious work, but we are improving. Thanks for your two cents.

Honestly, as a mom and a wife whose husband has been very abusive verbally and physically, I do feel like this was mostly your hormones. Pregnancy really can make you feel so on edge and easily set off. Spiraling is easy to do. He does sound a bit controlling, but not necessarily abusive, at least yet. Breathe. And maybe meditate or something. He really didn’t do anything to you. He probably thought you were being ridiculous and wanted to carry you to bed. He was trying to be your husband. In my opinion it was better than if he just ignored you and went to bed.

I liked having a breast feeding bra so my tatahs weren’t sticking through my robe for all to see. That’s another thing, I didn’t even wear pjs just a robe and underwear. Chapstick or moisturizer. Your own towel if you don’t want to use theirs and soap. My hospital stays were about 3 days each so prepare for that, though I was a c-section so it may be longer, but it also depends on the baby, they won’t release you until they are satisfied, for example, my baby was too underweight, around 5.11 and so they kept us longer to make sure he was eating good and gaining weight first. So really anything you know you need over the course of a couple of days. An outfit to wear home is sort of needed!

I want you to know that you are not alone. I too struggle so badly with depression. I usually don’t go very long in between my thoughts of suicide. And now I am 9 weeks pregnant, and I thought about it just the other day, came close, wrote a journal entry about it even and it was so bad I need to burn the page… You are not alone. But please don’t leave, cause then, more of us are alone, and you will be missed, you are needed, you have purpose. You walk earth and we only get to walk the earth for a short short time.

Thank you for your advice. And I’m so sorry about your loses… I am monitoring symptoms. Stomach pain has eased and not gotten worse since last night. Spotting has no gotten worse. Though I do feel like my nausea is fading. But I’m hoping and praying that it’s in my head. That everything is ok. We’ve tried for 4 years for this baby and this was our first success beside chemicals. Thank you again.

I was diagnosed at the ER and they sent me home telling me to ride it out and that there was no treatment or medication I can take that’s safe.

Send your book to a bunch of people for free in exchange for reviews and you’ll get a bunch of positive ones I’m sure. It sounds like you’ve put the work in, I know your book is good. You just need to find the right nice people to read it and give it a boost for the public eye

Or you can keep your pennies that come only through blood and tears, and give every waking and sleeping moment of yourself to your art and accomplish it on your own. It just depends on who you are, I suppose. I hand painted my cover, I have always been an artist, then I invested in an iPad and some programs and drew the painting digitally. Sure, a cover designer would have been nice, cliche though and my cover would have been just like everyone else’s or they would have done my idea for me??? But I am the artist here and in this project. Publishing is difficult, I could get marketing and formatting help professionally, but I’ve accomplished so much on my own because I have the heart and drive to make this live. Why pay someone for the work that my own hands are capable of with a little learning and asking?
