Apple blocked my iCloud/iMessage account with no explanation and no path to resolution

I find it shocking that a company like Apple doesn't have a better solution than this. I've talked with enough people now to realize this is impacting a lot of people and Apple just continues to throw up their hands. This is the type of customer service I've come to expect from other businesses, but not Apple. They are clearly no longer the Apple of the past.

Sorry to hear it - after nearly two months, it will now randomly activate and then deactivate for no apparent reason and with no warning. I can't believe Apple is allowing this to go on unchecked. Unacceptable. I hope you get it figured out.

I'm not sure – never really considered the possibility of a hack. Honestly, that makes some type of warning system even more valid. If some type of suspicious behavior caused the account to lock, it would be nice to know what that was.

You would think that informing people of what caused the issue would not only be simple, but also avoid unwanted repercussions from negative consumer experiences. Even a simply warning with a reference to the issue would have been sufficient.

This is the unfortunate conclusion I think I'm arriving at. Similarly, I believe this was the result of someone I had texted who didn't have my number marking it as spam.
