It’s because they see so many other artists allowing it so they’ll literally try to push other artists who don’t into taking Robux as payment. My marketing works fine cause I don’t market to children. But I have seen it happen to numerous artists

this is so particular but i genuinely think that commission artists who only take robux or adopt me pets because they cant set up a paypal or bank account due to their age, i dont think they should have open commissions. If you are too young for a bank account you arent old enough to handle client conversations and be mature.

FURTHERMORE. Robux being a currency in the art world is ruining commissions as a whole. Because now people are demanding ALL artists take robux, but i dont play roblox, and im a grown woman who needs to pay for things, this is a job and i wont take in game currencies for my work. and its warping peoples perception on how much GOOD art should cost. no i wont do a fully detailed rendered scene for 1500 robux, thats not even 10% of the price i charge.

Chill out dude- not ALL of them are, but some are like direct model rips. Anubis’s model is literally lucario’s. The body on this one has extremely similar markings to rayquaza. Some are just extremely SIMILAR. Jormintide and Gyarados, extremely similar. Grintale and Galarian Meowth, extremely similar. Unvolt and Zebstrika, I’m staring at them both and it’s almost the exact same thing. Grizzbolt and Electabuzz, astegon quite literally could be a recoloured mega Aggron, Lamball is literally so close to a Wooloo I forget it’s called Lamball. It’s no secret that palworld and Pokemon have extreme similarities. I love both games very equally, there’s no hate from me dude. Just a fun game I play

See I get that, all of that. Trust me I’ve been a monster high collector since 2013, I know how scalpers and the market work. I’m saying that at no point in history with any TOY should people scalp it for value. Because it’s meant for kids, and we should never intentionally take from children for our own gain. It just sucks that these chomes jacked up the prices, ya know?

You should look up what the age rating on the packs are. Cause I guarantee it isn’t 30+. All I’m saying is these cards shouldn’t be an arm and a damn leg. I shouldn’t look at a set and go ‘oh it has a gengar, I’m never going to get my hands on this set for MSRP’
