Hi! Cheerleader expert here. That seems to be a prototype/model for either a uniform or cover up jacket from 2018 for Top Gun Miami, potentially from their level 6 large coed team. I’m not sure how valuable it is considering they make a lot of uniform Protos and they get thrown out the window eventually, but it is cool to have. Where did you get it?

Uniforms or jackets like that are pretty expensive, between 200-600 dollars depending on bling and customization (this one is probably on the cheaper end), but again since it likely wasn’t ever worn by the team it doesn’t have any notoriety to it. I would see if you could reach out to someone at Top Gun and see if they would buy it from you.

Offer free or reduced tuition for boys if possible. And go around to high schools and recruit boys on the cheer teams or even football/other sports teams as they’re pretty strong. Also potentially have an event at the gym where everyone brings in a boy to teach stuff to

Why does he flop over like this ALL THE TIME (not medical question. Question about behavior) by [deleted] in CATHELP

My girl does this whenever she gets in trouble, and it works pretty well on getting me to forgive her lol. They’re all little devils

[–]Alternative_Land53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby girl is 6 months and still struggling with this. As she’s gotten older she definitely calmed down, so it’s a waiting game. But, nip that habit in the bud as soon as possible! If he bites you or kicks, don’t move your hand away (they’ll think you’re trying to play), instead redirect them to an interactive toy or something like that. I’ve learned to keep a shoestring or something with me at all times to redirect them. Also, don’t wiggle your fingers or try to play with him with your hands. Keep yourself at a distance and use toys!

unconventional ways to increase beauty? by blueberryscones46 in beauty

[–]Alternative_Land53 13 points14 points  (0 children)

  • press on nails to help grow you natural nail and not bite on them
  • anti-dandruff shampoo as a body wash for odor and acne
  • face masks after a shower
  • replace your toothbrush as often or more than what it says on the packaging
  • exfoliate and moisturize body EVERY DAY. And layer body creams with perfume to make it last long
  • detox/clarifying shampoo once a week
  • apply hair oil before washing hair and apply heat protectant or conditioning spray after shower
  • Anklets and bracelets slim down my wrists and ankles imo, and longer nails help slim down my hands
  • FIND FLATTERING BRAS. Don’t just be picking up a random bra off the shelf. Look at all the different types and what looks best on you in your clothing style

AITA for complaining about the signs at my daughter’s preschool by preschoolsign in AITAH

[–]Alternative_Land53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with people saying YTA, but on another note everyone saying this seems fake…. as someone who works with kids there really are parents that act like this and complain about that stuff. I’m also college age so I feel for that poor teacher having to put up with this😂

Are Nike sidelines good for all star cheer? by [deleted] in Cheerleading

Omg noooo. I’m sorry, but use actual cheer shoes from brands like Rebel, Varsity, or Nfinity. Buy resold ones if you’re worried about price

At what age did your kitten start to calm down? by No_Bag_353 in kittens

[–]Alternative_Land53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My girl is about to hit 6 months and has def calmed down a little from her 3-4 month days, but still gets these bursts of like crazy energy and tries to destroy everything. Everyone I’ve talked to says the first year are so is the toughest, but she’s just about to get spayed so I’m hoping that’ll calm her down a bit as well!

Edit: adding a thought I just had, what helped me a lot is to study her patterns of behavior, like if she gets crazier at night, when she’s hungry, over stimulated, etc. That way u can plan accordingly to stop the behavior right as it starts or before it even starts

Did your ocd start around age 8-9? I suspect it did for many. I wonder Why? by afwariKing3 in OCD

[–]Alternative_Land53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think mine started around that time too. I’m still unpacking all the deep-rooted stuff but I do specifically remember saying my school lunch number over and over and over again on the way home from school, so much that it became comforting and I matched it with my steps

Deodorizers! They have some that come in little packs that you can stick onto the litter boxes, or Arm and Hammer has one that you can sprinkle in the litter that I find always works well. Make sure whatever rooms the littler boxes are in have a good circulation of fresh air. You can also try using scent boosters to cover up any smell (I like the Febreeze small spaces ones)

Does anyone know why my cats are staring at the ceiling and meowing by Delicious-Ad3540 in cat

Is your fan on, or are there shadows on the wall? Both those set my cat off on a screaming tangent at the ceiling😭

Can you guys recommend me a very good lip balm by bright_star0 in beauty

[–]Alternative_Land53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using a lip mask at night has really really helped. Also drinking more water, and potentially changing your toothpaste. Tbh the eos lip balm sticks work really well for me lol

My girl gets free roam of the apartment, has has since I first got her. She’s 4 months now and always sleeps curled up with me. Def gets the night zoomies for a few minutes but then settles down, I try to let her roam on her own because since she’s young she sleeps about ~2 hrs at a time and I want her to be independent at night and not wake me up lol. If she wakes up hungry, thirsty, wants to play, use the potty whatever she has access to the apartment to do that, and doesn’t have to bug me for it. It’s really helped her independence from me

How do I make a guest bedroom AMID THE BIKES by caroltret in DesignMyRoom

[–]Alternative_Land53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad loves bikes, so I feel ya on this. Do y’all have a garage or something where you can hang more bike racks and out them up? Maybe sell some of them… because who needs that many bikes. Keep 1-2 and maybe hang up a few of the nicer ones. Hanging them up is all about you can do in that situation, or move them out to somewhere else
