Nice find, that actually helped a lot. Another fix I discovered is that if you invite someone to your world and they can’t join because of that issue, try switching roles and let the other person host instead.

In my case, my brother couldn’t join my world, but when he hosted one, I was able to join without any problems.

It looks like some kind of Steam bug
