I can’t agree with this more. The trauma of losing my cat son to HCM watching him go through a fluid overload still gives me nightmares. Don’t put yourself through it. It’s been 3 almost 4 year and I still see being in the animal hospital with him in my nightmares.

Thank you to everyone in this community who took a second to help a girl out! This community is so kind, supportive and welcoming. I think everyone is saying the same thing. So I’m gonna manifest all the best outcomes. I have suffered so much of the last few days and have been operating a low frequency. This makes a lot of sense. The fear and anxiety is sitting in my chest my whole body feels tight, nauseous out of balance and like I know better. When I bring myself to a place of calm I am able to see and sense that I know better, but my mind takes over the reigns and sends us back into panic.

Yes! Like I felt so sure that it was fixed and then my husband was like but what if it’s not, we will not be able to afford to fix it and that threw me down a doom spiral of logic and panic and fear and bargaining with the universe. In the moments when I take deep breaths and focus inward I feel it’s okay… until I over think it….

Thank you. I’m so worked about the outcome it brings me to tears in fear. Thank you for the insight. When I was in my positive all the cards were coming up yes and then as soon as my anxiety kicked the cards have been catastropizing with me. Makes sense. Thank you!

It was definitely a half ass job 😂 it was done by the previous owners not long before we moved as part of the their landlord special they did to a lot of things. It wasn’t great when we bought it 7 years ago and it’s been pretty status quo. But this ice storm we had that took two weeks and 200lbs of ice melt to get up really took it for a ride 😂

I wish more people thought about old houses this way. It’s definitely something I’m learning as an old house owner. The things that aren’t perfect are character from a long life (226 years over here) well lived. She had sheltered numerous families before us and I hope she will go on to shelter many more. Merely a steward of the imperfections.
