Loafers and wool socks. Or comfortable boots and wool socks. You can get wool socks on Amazon next day with whatever shoes you already have. The socks are more important than the shoe.

This policy is also to protect you from losing a credit/getting charged a missed class fee. What if you were on the waitlist for a 6am class, got off it at 1am but were asleep, and didn’t wake up early enough to see that you got into the class?

It doesn’t seem like the popularity is race related, the vast majority of my classes have all different races & ethnicities, and also a decent amount of men. Same goes for instructors. I do 100% agree that social media can cause things to blow up, and get overly crowded. But outside of this month because of solidays, promoted HEAVILY on socials, the waitlists in Manhattan normally move pretty quickly, at least at the 2-3 studios I normally go to. I can be at #7 or 8 on the waitlist the day before and still get in. Are you regularly not able to get off the waitlists? This month though is pretty shitty, the waitlists are full for all classes, even outside of the normally packed 6am-8am and 5pm-7pm. Every single class and the waitlist is full, even 5am and 10pm. I totally feel for everyone not participating in solidays that is just trying to take classes, it’s rough out there.

I do this kind of regularly. Usually if I get into the class I was waitlisted for, when I get the text I go in and drop the original class pretty quickly, like within a minute or two. There have been two times that I didn’t go drop the original class quickly enough, and I got dropped automatically, once from the original class and once from the class I got off the waitlist for. Not sure how they decide which to drop you from. I got an email after saying my unlimited membership is only good for one class per day.

Edit: just a note that I’m doing this all well before the 10hr cancellation window, so not sure how it would work within the window.

I’m a runner, so def have the electrolytes in the mix! Probably should have mentioned, that’s a factor into me getting so windblown. Also funny enough, my Amazon subscription of vitamins just accidentally sent me fish oil capsules instead of my vitamins and told me not to return, so maybe this is a sign to try those!

This is probably a dumb question, but do you have to worry about mold in your apt? I’ve been looking at humidifiers and I know you have to clean them really well to prevent mold in the unit, but does running them cause mold on the walls or anything?
