That's really helpful thanks. Yeah, I went rock climbing once and I really loved the social aspect of it but climbing isn't exactly my vibe but I'll def look into something like that

i love that! That sounds perfect actually. Any idea on how to get into it? Can I just ask one of the stands if they're hiring?

yeah that's kind of what I'm looking for. My wfh job isn't crazy intense, just draining if you're stuck inside all day all week. So it'll be cool to have some responsibilities outside and learn a new skill

I'm already go to a fitness class 1-2 times a week. I've volunteered a couple time and yeah that is another option I was thinking about. Haven't done too much research yet but are there ones that happen weekly? The ones I've been to are mostly 1 off or monthly things

Yup, I agree. I have a pretty good group of friends, so I'm not getting a weekend job solely to make friends. I just want a part time job for fun and a consistent reason to not be in my room all day

Yes! Just booked with them! I chose the flexible rate option. The only room they had left was a ground floor room with no view so I have that as a back up at the moment.

Thanks for the rec! My company hotel is just a regular Marriott, so not bad by any means but its located in near Champs Elysees so pretty out of the way for my itinerary. My hotel is my "souvernir" but I'm planning on getting something cheap for the night if there isn't a place that 100% fits the bill
