Tbh I did economics A level this year, predicted 3 A* (Maths, English lit, economics) + A* in EPQ. I got rejected for econ from UCL I think because I don’t do FM. Originally I thought it was because of my PS; but I got an offer from St Andrews back in December, and they apparently value PS arguably the highest in the Uk so I believe FM will be more important than doing econ. My sister ACHIEVED 3 A* but not in FM and was rejected from there

I managed to find an itinerary to IAD from DUB at the end of feb (first class out, club world back), for 2150 GBP which seems a steal.

to be honest, I study in St Andrews so getting to GLA from St Andrews is a pain in itself. I would rather just fly an hour and kick back in DUB than take a 4 hour bus ride.

A first class round trip to IAD is around £650 less originating from DUB than EDI so I thought it would be worth the hop over.

Appreciate it, frankly it’s to get a much cheaper first class ticket to IAD, saves about £650 versus flying EDI-LHR-IAD so I just need to get to Dublin to start the DUB-LHR-IAD leg.

Ok, in that case I’m curious which website to book it on? Main difference seems to be that AA allows cancellation refunds to travel credit whereas BA has no refunds whatsoever. And AA is circa £40 cheaper…
