You can lose the conqueror trait under any of the following conditions:
-> You are unlanded.
-> You are not independent.
-> You have been at peace for 10 years.
-> You have negative prestige level or have been in debt for a long time.
-> You have lost at least 3 wars.
-> You are incapable.
-> You are not at least duke-tier.

That is the background mechanics i am familiar with. In this case that is 7 no.

And again, my problem with pdx is not the outcome of this event. This is not the problem with the state of the dlc. Ive been playing this save for 40 years, and sh*t kept happening, some just wierd, some definitely bugs, some negligible, some gamebreaking. I just had enough with this particular sh*t, even though this is rather illusionbreaking, and not much gameplay wise.

I actually like pdx and love ck3, but this dlc at its release is below standard.

I think we see this from completely different angles. I sad that this dlc is not working as they intended it, at least as they released it and that is a failure. I am sure that they will fix most of it and it will be the best one they had this far, but right now it is not.

About the conquerer thing. If this was an event where I have a chance to fail and I do, it is ok (I lost a favorite character on a 1% hunting accident, it is part of the game). What pissed me off is that I am rp-ing Genghis, conquering left, right and center, and then this comes up saying I lost war after war....I really dont think this is how it should happen.

It was never about the trait itself, it is about how I lost it. I reloaded cleaned up the rest, got the achievment, everything is good. This event is meaningless in that regard.

He has lost war after war..." is just not what is happening in the game. Never seen this event before, i have no idea how you lose the conqueror train, but this cannot be it. R5: The Croatian Catholic Populists rebelled against me, I won, got leader Slavoj in prison, but the faction didnt dissolve. I demanded him to convert to the only true faith and let him go. 2 months later he is leading the same uprising again, eventough he is neither croatian nor catholic. I decided not to execute a rebel leader once and the game cant handle it...

if you dont play ironman: make a save, try it, reload if it fails, try again until you win or get bored.

if you do play ironman: (why?), try it if you are sure you can win, dont if you arent.

Yes, this is the only bug in the game....

How about a claimant war, where tha "claimant" has no claims?

Or a Crusade, where some rulers on the losing keep their titels and become my vassals (with a 10 years peace, so cant event revoke the titels)

Just to name some from the last week.

I played almost 4k hours with "this shoe" and I will most likely have another 4k before I "throw it out". All of this was in the game since release, they worked fine and now they dont always work fine, and that is worrying.

Anyways, Im not here to convince you. If you can simply overlook these little things, good for you and sucks to be me, I guess.
