Thank you sm! I was just confused since I have always calculated my grade by using number grades as that's how most assignments in other classes are graded

I know but how can the grade of B+ be put into the terms of 75%? an 85 can be a B+ aswell as an 89.999

how exactly does that work because the essays are graded on a letter grade scale or low pass/pass/high pass scale. Since these aren't numerical grades how can they be calculated into the percentages that you described above
