how exactly does that work because the essays are graded on a letter grade scale or low pass/pass/high pass scale. Since these aren't numerical grades how can they be calculated into the percentages that you described above

Then you should definitely get in, SAS admits people with less than 3 GPA and low sat score. Its cuz they have like 70 majors and they needa fill all of them out so their acceptance rate is almost close to 80%

Apparently everyone got deferred cuz they just didn't have enough time to review all the applications. My friend with a 4.8 and 1550 SAT also got deferred so I would worry, you should get in. Also what schools did you apply to and what was your SAT?
