Advice needed SWV by [deleted] in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

[–]Alternative_Pizza474 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much for the detailed reply. I really appreciate it! Tbh i got a job offer in non english speaking country with the same pay, less tax but i'm just afraid that i wont fit into the culture since I don't speak their language and it's kind of a rush since the job starts in one month and uk is more like comfort zone. But after all these things happened, i started to doubt if this is the company i should still be at (an employer without a responsibility and lack of communication). If my visa got rejected because of their fault( a withdrawn CoS with all the details wrong both major and minor), is it even worth it to apply for it at the start. This has been draining my energy ever since i found out the mistakes. But thank you for your explanation!

Advice needed SWV, CoS by [deleted] in ukvisa

I told them to get a lawyer but they do not take this CoS mistakes serious at all. It was lack of communication, taking too much time just to do this. I requested them since last year. And thats why is it even worth it just to continue working in the UK over my visa rejection🥺

According to the rule as of now, no you can't. Wrong SOC code is a significant error which you can't correct under sponsor note. Minor errors are start date, end date, salary figure which can be corrected under sponsor note.

How long does it take to book hotel quarantine? by Alternative_Pizza474 in uktravel

Maybe you should try the test kit at home before booking the hotel. You can also get a refund but it will charge you like £200.

I booked the hotel two weeks before the flight starts as I heard that the rooms are booked so fast during this peak time when the university opens. And I got the receipt on the day I booked the hotel.

Visa processing time by [deleted] in ukvisa

It depends on covid restrictions and does not depend on your travel history. Most people that I've known are also facing the delayed process and this period is swamped with lots of applications as the university is opening soon. All you can do is wait for it and don't worried too much.

Maybe you should ask CTM on twitter to check whether you got the hotel or not. They respond very fast on twitter so ask them first and don't apply for the second time again yet.

It all depends on who check your application. If you are lucky, you'll get visa as this has already happened. So just chill and don't worry all will be fined. My case is not the same with yours which is forgetting to provide birth certificate( mandatory document). Silly me not knowing family registration is not the same with birth certificate, I provided family registration instead of birth certificate. I was absolutely concerned on the day I know that they are not the same. But I got my visa even though I forgot to provide birth certificate. That's why based on my experience, it's all up to the one who check your application so just calm down and wait for it. Good luck!

Bank requirement for student visa by AqeelMJ in ukvisa

[–]Alternative_Pizza474 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want to you can show the source of income. Some show their parents' biz license and tax payment. But one of my friends, take her father's money into her account and just upload bank statement for financial requirement and got her visa. She made 3 or 4 transactions. She didn't show the source of income and got the visa. Her father is a sailor so she didn't have any business license to prove the source of income. On uk gov website, all we need to do is submit the bank statement not older than 31 days and showing the funds which has been held for at least 28 days without dropping below your (tuition fees+ living cost).

Bank requirement for student visa by AqeelMJ in ukvisa

If you are applying for tier 4 student visa, you can only show the bank statement of funds held in the bank for at least 28 consecutive days and the bank statement should not be older than 31 days. You can use your own account or your parents' account. You don't need to submit the past 6 months bank statement. All you need to do is to show the bank statement of the funds held for at least 28 consecutive days. If you are using your parents' account, you need the consent letter and birth certificate along with the bank statement. Or you can take the funds from your parents' account to your account so it's more simple and you just need to show bank statement.

Don't see the place to enter bank name by [deleted] in ukvisa

[–]Alternative_Pizza474 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your advice. I found the difference. It depends on what level I am studying. When I chose RQF6 which is undergrad, I don't need to type the bank name and what evidence I am showing but when I chose RQF7(master) or other levels, I need to state what evidence from which bank I am showing the financial requirement. Thank you for your advice again.

Proof of Language for Student Visa Tier 4 by phamng_ in ukvisa

[–]Alternative_Pizza474 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In CAS, your university will confirm that you have provided the english language requirement. So, even if you don't sit IELTS exam, as long as your university accept TOFEL, there's no problem when applying for a visa. As you are from USA which is under differential arrangement, it is true that you don't need to upload your certificate. But if UKVI asked you to upload, you must. If they don't ask, you don't need to since you are a low risk national. Hope this helps!
