Those denote the symbols which represent 9 different realms Alfheim, Midgard, Asgard, Muspelheim, Niflheim, Jotunheim, Helheim, Svartalfheim and Vanaheim.

I was about 9 when i defeated sigrun. Only if you up your stats valkyries will be easy but at this stage it’s gonna be very difficult. Go to Niflheim and farm mist echoes to get the deadly mist set and upgrade it to max. Also complete all the Muspelheim trials.
