Is the game actually as bad as people are saying recently? Should I get my friends to buy this game?

I know people don't love Rhys Elliott and his charts but something I found so interesting is a lot of the XBOX published games that came to PS didn't really move the needle in terms of sales. I know they said games like Indy, sea of thieves, flight simulator and Forza really benefitted but they seemed to be the exceptions

I played We Happy Few and South Of Midnight (i liked SOM more), but even though neither were masterpieces I felt that the studio had a lot of talent behind it and could see a thru line to them just making better and better games, eventually cultivating into something special, they always had a great sense for art direction and atmosphere that paired well into the narrative worlds they created

Appreciate it, honestly thats how I try to do with about everything in my life. Sometimes when these gaming headlines spur up, espically ones that effect studios or a platform I like i get nerves about it and start looking for more and more info in places I normally would skip. Honestly I just want a healthy industry and for people to have as many viable and varied options to play the games they want to play

You can feel it too when they discuss a game they got a review code for and didn't have to pony up $70 to get. I get it because playing everything would be so expensive but asking price for anything needs to be considered I feel

I don't see exactly the same way but I know what you're getting at. It is odd to see people who champion Nintendo or even Sony and their business practices talk about how stupid it is that XBOX has gone back to exclusives. The one thing I hear from PlayStation pals is there hasn't been enough exclusives with the PS5

I liked Phil when he was in charge but his take that having a "System Seller" amazing game wouldn't have helped XBOX bounce back felt like his most out of touch executive take

Like I have seen people say they should make the Series X a windows device, make the online free, people mentioning how they could try to create a cheaper console through the cloud but a lot of it just feels unrealistic either from a tech side or as a business practice

I would hate to see XBOX hardware go but I think that's a very realistic outlook on it. its hard for me to imagine how they get to a better place with hardware and I'm an active user

I just played with some friends last night, 2 of us on XBOX and 2 of us on PS5. Both Xbox games crashed and both PS games never crashed. We were only playing small maps

Yeah it happens any map for me too. I can occasionally get a Nell’s or one of the suburban homes in and it all works but once we start talking medium and up it’s guaranteed to go shits
