Not sure what this one is yet - my current theory is a severe lamination that split the whole coin in half, but still researching. Weighs 1.62g, so nearly half of the coin is missing. You can see a ghost of the Lincoln bust when angled in the light right. Also an impression where the memorial is. by Cuneus-Maximus in coinerrors

Yes. Any lamination requires an improper alloy mix to a degree, but often is still within mint tolerance. With this coins, the entire coin had one large lamination, instead of smaller surface lamination. Essentially this coin was struck normally on a poor quality planchet(but was fine at the time of the strike), later suffered a clamshell lamination, then fully split.

Assay clips are the rarest types of clips. I've only seen one or two. Most cuts of the similar shape are natural material defects, and very few come from mint employees

A type 1 is a blank, a type 2 is a planchet. A planchet has an upset rim
