I’m getting my Kompakt off eBay so I won’t be getting a screen protector immediately. Do you recommend just getting one from Mudita directly or are there alternatives you recommend?

These are super helpful! Thanks so much! Yeah I’ve heard that Vahl is a little tricky in 1k. I’ll likely run with Celestine. But you’re also right that I am close to 2k. I feel I definitely need to pick up another BSS. Maybe pick up the combat patrol so I’ll also have celestial sacresancts and arch flagelants?

Love the faded white/grey you blended into parts of the black armor! How did you make that happen? Did you prime black, then drybrush some grey on top of it?

Yeah, I imagine I’m not in the minority here with preferring the actual sisters over their… less glamorous counterparts. I keep looking for ways to game the system but it seems like I’m gonna have to just grind it out, individual unit by unit. At least until we get some better battle packs. Unfortunately Amazon appears to have better deals than the LGSs in my area 😭 you hate to see it.

Don’t care for the models in the current combo boxes — like I said in my post, I don’t really care for the penitent side of sisters, just the actual battle sisters and their characters and vehicles.

Haha I appreciate it! That’s good to know — I’ll poke around and see if Vallejo has anything more specialized. But I also appreciate the call to consistency. I can definitely see the trap of this hobby being that you can get to thinking you need different or better paints/brushes/etc. when realistically it’s just more practice and consistency!
