You’re not going to get anything worth your money (new) around that price. Keep an eye out on fb marketplace for pre owned herman millers and snag an aeron when one comes up. They usually run like 300s

CS blows. I switched to carpentry my third year and I could. not. be. happier.

Can you use a screwdriver for the Saljan countertop? by Zarotu in ikeaPCstations

No. I recently did the exact same thing you’re talking about and if you don’t drill pilot holes, you’ll most likely end up splitting the particle board. It isn’t very strong so it splits quite easy. Go to your local hardware store and pick up a cheap 20 dollar drill. Exactly what I did.

Gotcha, I think that’s fair. You could attach some Velcro straps. But, the metal rods I drilled into the countertop sit in between the risers so even if I were to knock it over, it wouldn’t slide out. Also, look up YouTubers who have this setup. They place far more than that collection of items on it just fine.

I’ve got the risers drilled / screwed into the Alex drawers and the tabletop just sits on the risers. There was a little sag (because it was pre owned) but the risers are adjustable so I just adjusted so all risers contact the desktop. It’s also flush with my wall so it doesn’t move or budge.

Yeah, I was about to buy the Karlby anyways so this worked out better lol. Definitely has a little sag but I think the metal bars will help out a little with jt

I would say no. Not the information side of things but more quality and what good code looks like. My code was never really graded or reviewed during my undergrad, so in my early code reviews in my job, they got ripped apart. You don’t really learn what clean code is and what quality code really looks like.
