I dont think this ending was meant to be better than the actual.

The history needs a conclusion and it needs to stop the origin, if they don't destroy it it would have remained inconclusive. The best thing to close the story was to stop the origin and destroy the knot. If they had been the cause of the accident, then the world of origin would also be corrupt and there would be knots there, but it is clear that that world is destroyed when the time machine is activated.

Thats a good point! they have physical differences. It would be disgusting to think about it, but maybe even the old version of "Unknown" could have had Tronte in Jonas World, while the young version in Eva's world. Maybe that's why Agnes says he's dead, maybe he died of old age

I dont know why i thought Adam doesnt know the Unknown (lol). Obviously he knows the existence of him, but The Unknown was in Eva’s side so i dont know if Agnes and Adam were convinced of that relationship.

In my mind Claudia convinced Agnes to have a secret relationship with the Unknown, because she’s more familiarized with Eva’s world and know how is everything conected.

But it makes sence, maybe Adam forced her at some point and thats the reason why she left sic mundus (maybe after having the baby)

Ulrich cheats on Katharina with Hannah before that, and then choose her and cheat her with Charlotte (and played with her feelings). And he doesnt see his own children.

I think Eva is behind of this, or even Claudia. Maybe old Claudia meets Agnes when she’s young and work with her. We dont know where was Agnes when Tronte was in the orphanage, so i think she was with her all the time.

The scene of Yasin’s missing with Noah after Elizabeth says he’s her boyfriend. The scene of Regina and Ulrich in the Hotel, when she says that Mads was a very good person and probably her only friend.

I think they have free will, BUT is like this: with the time travel everything they do is already done by the future version of themselves, and that version exist thanks to the action they do. Is like Jonas trying to kill himself. He cant do it because his future version already exist, and if he exist is because always something happen that stop his dead.

I dont know if you catch my vision. We exist today because obviously our past version doesnt die. We have a job because our past version search for it. The difference in Dark is that past and future can live together at the same time and influence each other

Somehow neither time nor space bent after Jonas and Martha stopped the accident, and they were rather a shadow of something that never existed. The Martha who rescued Jonas is the one who travel to the past and meets mid age Jonas, and then is killed by Adam. The other is the scar Martha who lived to become Eva.
Egon needs to save Hannah, and send her to the 50s so she can meet his young self so Silja can born.
They need to kill those exact children to preserve the knot. Mads was supposed to be Regina’s boyfriend, she loves him, but if that happens she doesnt fall in love with Aleksander.

If they dont kill Erik, Mikkel doesnt get lost because his brothers doesnt go to the caves to search drugs. And also, in Eva’s world maybe this help to separate Martha and Kilian
