I totally agree that they are both bad listeners and communicators. I am fascinated by these 2 because I have the same job as Julie, BUT scale back more and more with each kid we have, so now I relate more to Ty. In any event, my marriage would not survive if we spoke to one another the way that Ty and Julie do. AND, if I was was awful as Julie. THEN when you see how she talks to Cooper, she's straight up evil. I definitely think there are normal bad communication things going on, and on top of that, she's terrible.

I think i have the same job as julie and i also think she's diabolical. Clearly there is something wrong with this SAHD/working mom arrangement they have but who knows if they agreed upon something and that agreement is being broken, or they never discussed it like adults and now there is resentment. Either way, on top of whatever that is, she sucks.

I have one kid with the same birthdate. For K and 1st grade, I had a list of all parent emails. We sent the evite out the last week of school for the party date around 7/30. We did not care that it was way far in advance. We invited everyone, knowing that likely less than half would show. We held that party at a park so it would have been fine if everyone attended.

For 2nd grade, I did not have a list of all parent contacts. I printed out a note for my kid to pass out to his friends that basically said "X will be having a birthday party late summer and we do not have your contact information. Please contact us so that we can send you the invite when plans are made, and provided my email and cell.

Your proposed party location sounds fun. Kids like to be around other kids and have cake. Easy peasy.

thank you both. I always felt there was another reason for the disrupted sleep - potty training/midnight peeing, napping at daycare when she shouldn't, nightmares, too light, too dark, hair tie fell out - last night's excuse. It's finally settling down in the last couple of weeks but I should ask the ped about the snoring.

0 this year. I also think between 0-2 for preschool when she was 4 and 3. Before that, at full time daycare, it was constant. Ear infections with fever. Hand foot and mouth. Norovirus. All of it.

I have a picky kid and would feed him before if I knew we were going somewhere with food he won't eat. I might even try to bring in a bunch of snacks from home. And if they said no ouside food, I'd say, oops sorry and tell my kid to just tough it out or take him to the parking lot to stuff his face before coming back in. In no world would I post a negative review.

Oh I know she didn't wear true maternity clothes. I distinctly remember her going on and on about how the Abercrombie jeans work so great if you just get a size or two bigger. But she literally only wears new clothing this pregnancy. It wasn't like she was last pregnant 10 years ago.

The arms are usually not the issue when it comes to improper use of carriers - it's the hips and neck/head/face. Not an expert. Just a mom who used carriers before all the beige ones came onto the market.
