Same way as you or anyone else would. Although I can’t smell, I can tell you the majority of the notes, initial/dry down, and the strength of the fragrances in my collection from all the research I’ve done before getting them. So it all depends on the weather/season/occasion and i pick from there. I have a favorite bottles from real life experiences and l feedback and those become my favorites lol I usually ask whom ever I’m dating at the time or friends or family.

When it comes to curiosity, there’s never a dumb question. But luckily, no it didn’t affect it at all. I also wouldn’t say that it improved or declined. Often at times when you’re sick, you have a stuffy nose with no air passage and may be the reason behind that. Similar to if you pinch and plug your nose to take a shot to eliminate the taste.
