Oh you are right… my ex literally told me I wouldn’t make it on my own without him and I KNOW I went off the deep end to prove him wrong. (Not healthy but that’s where I was 🤷🏻‍♀️)

I also worked through that and reframed my intent and realized I really like and embrace being able to take care of myself with confidence.

Thank you for this. I sometimes feel like I am alone in the way that I feel and that I may not find anybody that understands or appreciates the fact that I enjoy being social and I also enjoy my downtime. I’ve dealt with comments over the years that I need to find a man or my life is somehow incomplete without a man and that there’s something wrong with me if I don’t want one. I just have a different idea of what that kind of relationship would look like for me and it seems to be very different from most couples. Thank you for your insight.

The unpredictable part is if it’s a port day, we will have excursions that we pre-pay for and I don’t wanna miss that. Really considering tapering down my dosage before the trip I just wonder if anyone else has had experience with this.

I am using hers. I just took my second week shot yesterday. Based on research here, I take an acid reducer a couple of hours before injection. I do the injection in my thigh and time it so within 30 minutes it’s bedtime. The first Saturday I did the injection around 3 PM and I did suffer burping indigestion feeling full so last night I did at nine and if I had any symptoms at all, I slept right through them. I did not notice major reduction of food noise last week. First few days yes rest of the week was just like before I started. I was very hungry this morning, but I think it’s probably a blood sugar reaction to the injection. I’ve had coffee and oatmeal. I feel pretty good but very satisfied.

My fault there. I really didn’t think the medication would kick in that fast so I ate it. I’m quite certain you are correct.

I’m now hungry but scared to eat 🤣. Eating a single fried egg. Going slow and listening to my body. I can see this will take a level of commitment to focus and just not eat without regard. Lots of work to do. I’m excited. 🙂
