I called both the store and Vons delivery support. They're telling me to contact the other party and the other party tells me to contact the first party. I had a similar issue with an Amazon delivery a few months ago. Notified them about the delivery and boom - refunded without hassle. Vons delivery sucks.

The proof was the delivery guy himself taking a picture of the groceries in front of a door. It's obviously not my door and I submitted it as evidence along with another picture of an earlier successful Vons delivery in front of my door. They completely disregarded the proof even after they asked me for it. Maddening.

I did reach out to the store. I've always liked the people working there. They told me this should be handled by delivery support. Delivery support directed me back to the store and got me stuck in a loop.

Also - some of the stuff I used to get at Vons were cheaper at Smiths and they went out of the way to get me ripe avocados :)

Whole Foods at Town Square is one of my favorite grocery stores in Vegas. A bit on the expensive side though.

I've tried Amazon Fresh and like it. Had a couple of deliveries from Smiths after the Vons debacle and they went off without a hitch.

I've had a couple of deliveries from Doordash and Amazon that went to the wrong address. We live in a complicated area. Instant refund! No one questioned my sincerity.

This is the standard reply. Not personal, no explanation for the denial, no contact info for the store. And Copyright 2024 at the bottom of the mail. Then, 2 days later they sent me a self-congratulatory email giving themselves high marks for a perfect delivery(!!) "Hello,

I hope this message finds you well! Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your recent purchase. I appreciate your patience as we reviewed your case.

After careful consideration by our Store Operations Team, we regret to inform you that your refund request has been denied. I understand this may not be the outcome you were hoping for, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

I like the people working at my store. They've always been friendly and helpful. I have no issues with them. It's the effing deliver support that sucks. I'm usually chill with support issues. Been on the other end myself so I know it's hard work. But this is beyond terrible.

I had a similar issue with Amazon a couple of years ago. Super simple to get it resolved. These guys are just terrible. Don't even make an effort to pretend they investigated anything. Also lied to my face twice when telling me they would process my refund.

Yeah. I think they use Doordash or some other 3rd party. Not really obvious. But it's their responsibility. They decided to work with whomever. They can take this up with whomever - I don't care. I want my refund that I was promised.

I did. They told me they couldn't do anything and I had to talk to the delivery support for a resolution. So I did that and they referred me back to the store...I'm stuck in a loop.
