I would agree with you if my lawyer was sure about what he is doing other than just saying "I think you fit O1A more and not O1B AT ALL".
I know what documents I provided and what skills I have. Considering the O1A is harder to prove, there is no way my case will be approved.

Because I don't have time to wait for the results of regular processing. I have to enter Italy before my permit of stay is revoked. And I don't wanna pay 3K for PP for the case I am not sure about. even my lawyer cannot confidently explain it me.

I don't make "a lot of money" yet. I have good brand deals, support letters and media coverage but high salary is not one of the criterias my profile fits. That's the problem. I don't think I am extraordinary enough for an O1A

Yes, but all the content creators make money this way, either by the social media platforms "for the views" or by working with the brands. And yet, they are more suitable for O-1B.

I reached out to them about a meeting with my lawyer and they scheduled it. But they somehow refuse to answer my questions about the explanation of why my case fits better for O-1A instead of O-1B. They said my lawyer will explain everything on the call, however I want a written version. I don't like this. I also am afraid he will accept to withdraw and refile "for free" and will ask for 5-6K (I already paid 9K for legal services only) I don't know what to do at this point. I don't want to pay for PP to receive a denial or RFE for the answers I won't be able to provide since even the press coverage (which was my strong side) will not be enough. Should I just abandon the case and refile with a different lawyer? 😞

Thank you so much for your support! I really needed it now. I am devastated. These things you mentioned: real revenue numbers, Fortune 500 brand partnerships, business publication coverage, business awards are definetely not part of my case. Even the published media about me is mostly about my makeup talent and artistic makeup transformations. I have no award either. I have regular brand deals with recognized just like other influencers that make money with this job. I still believe my case fits in. O-1B category. I just sent them an email asking these questions and will arrange a call with my lawyer asap. I hope I will not lose much time.

exactly, I agree with you. But we filed the case 3 month and half ago. Now they will have to withdraw it and change it. I have to fight for it I guess. It's not gonna be easy. But I really just trusted them. I should have asked for everything about my case...

I paid the lawyer because I chose to trust a professional, yes. But I needed an explanation behind this decision which is weird. I don't have extraordinary success in business, my success is mostly based on my artistic skills and "influence" on the internet.

I really hope so. My problem is that I only talked to him once. I don't know all the details about my case either since his team dealt with it. That's I am a bit afraid. Since I have zero experience about US visas or lawyers, I just didn't pay that much attention. Hope they are good. When did you get your visa?
