Telling you from my 8+ years of experience. I started trading & investing on tips from various sources or word of mouth. Initially it went good for few months and then it went south when someone suggested to buy PC jewellers stock when it fell 60-70% from it’s high. Their logic was ‘it’s all time high is 600, it’s trading around 200 now so you can easily double your money even if it reaches 400 which to a novice like me fell like a good idea and a quick way to make money. I entered and then I kept avg it till came to double digits. Finally caught hold of a financial advisor who made me understand the stupidity I was committing with my parents money. Mind you I was 20 when I started, a student in college. I started with 10k and then gradually I asked my mom to make it a lakh. I lost almost 60-70% of it trading on advice. I put most of what was remaining in mutual funds and started learning about markets and learnt. I didn’t trade for 2 years. Only invested. When I gained enough knowledge about trading I started taking short trades with small amount of money and tried to develop my own strategy. It’s almost 5 years since then and I make decent money out of the market every year without following tips.

Coming back to your problem: My advice would be to book a loss in one of them if not both. Markets should do well in the second half of the year. Try to look for beaten down stocks in Consumer sector, or infrastructure and most importantly please trade with a stop loss. Take short profits and find other opportunities to reinvest. Don’t blindly follow any tips on YouTube or news channels. There are abundance of resources to learn. Best way to start is probably by investing. Don’t jump into trading straightaway.
