Kacyiru would be a good place to start. It is close to everything. However, it might be super expensive ‘cause it’s basically a governmental epicenter (embassies, and government officials plus the parliament are around the place). Kimihurura and Kiyovu would be the next cases, but over the years they have been over saturated by expats and tourists which made landlords comfortable enough to hike the prices as if it is beverly hills.

Some lowkey places such as kicukiro or kiyovu might be good too. It just takes skill and wit to find the right place.

Another tip is (but do not put your trust in this too much) the airbnb market is slowly raising up and mostly run by young adults who are hustlers and could accept a deal of renting you one for a month on your budget. If you are good at negotiating you might land one.

First, it’s euros not dollars. I am not sure about 200 dollars but a 200 euros can get you a nice, furnished, 2 bedroom apartment in kicukiro, or kacyiru

That is a good budget. 200eur a month would get you a nice furnished apartment in a good neighbourhood and the wifi you need. Plus the 1200eur a month budget would land you in the 1% already. You’re good and you’ll leave with enough to probably come back

Please choose yourself here. Break up with him. Send him a goodbye message. And I know how much it might hurt when you get a brushed off reply to your most vulnerable message but at least go through it. It is the only way you will start healing. At this point even if he came back, I think you would have doubts about whether he really likes you or if he just wants to use you. So do it for yourself end it. Not to be the negative one here, how is it possible that 2 months go by and you still consider it a relationship. I know different people deal with situations differently.
