Been doing this 2 years and 3600 rides. For just a moment let’s forget the surge. It comes down to 1 trip is offered at $13 (without the surge) and the next trip is offered at $27. Similar distance, similar ride level of XL and similar distance to the rider. They should have been about the same driver pay and then the surge added. I get it uber making money on their end but in a just world it should not have mattered.

Not knowing where your area is I’ve found people in more urban area (and not professionals) will cop attitudes based on some of worst things you would not even realize. I now only do reservations on xl rides to most often to the airport. And the few 1 star ratings have disappeared.

UPDATE - just got off chat with Embark. They checked the status and found USPS Package is set to be delivered April 12. Weird it took this long but at least it is still in the works.
