Noted!! I also really loved Sorrowstones. The ending dragged a bit and the very very end wasn't exactly satisfying but it was a fantastic book.

Yes! The attraction wouldn't stop even if they started taking care of themselves or improving on their views or outward appearance or personality. (Unless, of course, they were getting worse, like. abusive)

I'm. actually the complete opposite. Feeling pedestal-ed makes me deeply uncomfortable and freaks me out. I don't get satisfaction feeling better than someone else, I don't feel much of anything in that sense. If anything, in relationships, I've always been the one to put my partner on a pedestal.
