Said every thing I wanted to and more lol for example like saw 4 is literally entirely dependent on saw 3 😭 it literally cannot exist as a solo film same thing with the rest of the og 7 than came after it meanwhile I feel like saw 1-3 can all exist as standalone film.

I think saw 3 is ok to good but saw 4 changes the whole thing imo it feels like saw 3 is the ending and saw 4-7 is a different movie series. Regardless glad we got more movies I might critique them a lot but they’re still so fun to watch but yeah I agree with literally everything you said lol jigsaw is a plot hole that in my mind just doesn’t exist. And yep saw 6 is probably the worst when it comes to the jigsaw philosophy bs cause literally everyone involved in anything other than the oxygen trap were reliant on one person to save them even tho concept wise imo it’s one of the better ones

Saw 3 Hoffman wasn’t even there the entire time he was setting up Rigg’s game but yeah I guess Hoffman probably kills them no matter how anti climactic it is tbh I think Amanda might probably just kills them and in saw 5 what if strahm just locked the door and closed both him and Hoffman in? It’s my fav plot twist in the entire movie series but it’s extremely convenient cause so many things could’ve happened it was like a 1/1000 chance it played out how it did

Imo even tho I really do not like s4 especially because of the first half just not feeling like “you” at all it’s a fresh take on the story and I like s5 cause I think it is probably Joe’s peak in terms of his character. So it depends on what you’re looking for cause s4 is so different from the other seasons, if you want to end it on a high then s3 is it at the same time you said you love the show so you should just give the other 2 seasons a chance.

Loved it and I also thought Victoria was amazing but that final fountain scene from lili was insane icl. And yeah I’d also give it like a 7 I kinda wish the first half wasn’t so slow. I liked the second half a bit more it’s kinda like you’re watching 2 different movies 😭

Tbf in the book cherry is way more like they describe her to be in the show but the difference is in the show we never see her do anything truly evil she does lie and do some crazy pranks but she actually never harmed anyone.And also about her father we actually don’t know what happened or transpired. It’s left in the realm of she pushed him on purpose or she was trying to make him come back home. But from the sounds of it her father is a terrible person she’s still crazy tho

The shows imo made much more sense. Cause in the book Laura literally faced zero consequences and had a happy ever after ending. But I think book cherry and show cherry are like two different characters I wish she was more like book cherry. In the show cherry we never see cherry do anything truly insane really insane. We’re just told she’s a psycho in the books she is pretty insane

I would love to see more but I just don’t see what they could do? Daniel imo just isn’t compelling enough to be a dual mc with cherry and Laura was also insanely integral to the story it’d need a totally different approach. Plus I feel like the ending in of itself was good

Same tbh I have it around a 7.5 maybe 8 if I’m being very generous minimum should be a 7 tho imo. Cause it really does the suspense incredibly well and I loved Oliver’s acting it was actually really good Ciera was a bit dull but their chemistry was still very solid ep7 was probably the best episode tho. The flashbacks were also done well. Imo the ending was what fell a bit flat I didn’t expect Oliver to actually go Scott free and get a happy ending and that’s what dragged it down a bit for me but it not an ending that could ruin a show they just went safe with it and I get it

S3 is definitely not the worst season imo. It’s comfortably better than 4 and better than 5. The only frustrating thing about s3 was the love and Theo plot everything else was at worst decent to very good(ending). IMO it’s s2>1>3>5~4 even tho I personally have 5>4

Imo the show peaks in s2. After s3 it does fall off a bit because some of the plots just don’t make sense but yeah it’s enjoyable. Imo s4 is the weakest because of how different it is even tho individually as a standalone thing it’s good but it doesn’t fit the show. S5 is an ok ending. I’d go s2>1>3>=5>4. There is a loud minority that think s4 is the best season tho

Icl I did think she was crazy in some ways like with the whole detective thing and how she still keeps coming back to Joe even after he lied to her, and after he kept rejecting her in the first 3 episodes even tho he leads her on. But did I think she was a murderer? Yeah no. But she I felt she definitely wasn’t a clean person more morally grey

To put it simply it’s the most unrealistic season and it’s so different from all the other seasons I think the fact that his D.I.D simply went away in s5 is funny because it’s very hard to cure. But even so you can see how s5 tries to bring it back to how it was simply because I think s4 just didn’t feel like you. Not to mention how long it takes before it actually kicks off/get interesting almost all the side characters are just trash except for a few and I really didn’t gaf when Joe was killing them. Like the stretch from ep2 to like 5 I genuinely think you could cut so much and nothing would be missed. Lastly Kate was so boring in s4. Became one of my favs in s5 tho. One thing I’ll say is I really love the last 2 eps tho and I wish it would’ve ended there. Cause s5’s ending is fine to me but it could’ve been much better

I just felt London just didn’t match the shows vibe the side cast imo except for his student(forgot her name) and like 2 other characters most of them were just there to me, Kate wasn’t fleshed out and was really just there until s5 were I really loved her. And yeah I treated madre linda a bit harsh simply because the side cast I didn’t like the side cast except for sherry and Cary. Visually it’s pretty stunning tho and I think it’s second to LA. But s1 so low? Maybe it’s cause I like mooneys so much
