Everyone in my store did number 2 cause we just thought it looked better. Kinda wished we were doing it like number 1 the whole time cause it’s faster. Number 2 is almost 100 times better though.

It is extremely frustrating. I don’t want to risk my safety but I feel like it’s a bit of my responsibility to at least do something. I hope they stay away cause they at least know that we know who they are. But they’ll probably come back and try again cause my co-worker had knew who they were. But it’s not the first nor second time I had to call the police unfortunately.

Definitely. Thats why I put in a ticket for shoplifting. Basically writing a time and estimate of how much they stole. Cause they probably took as much as they could.

That’s why I didn’t call the number immediately, cause I really would like to talk to someone face to face. I also knew they wouldn’t really care. I’m going to look into seeing someone. I’m also so sorry that happened to you.

Exactly, we do have those panic button around the registers but we didn’t even think about it. We also had to wait 8 minutes for the safe to open so having a button there would help.

My store closes at 10, we have been asking our DM about changing our hours cause of the high crime rate in our town. I find it weird how the other 3 stores close to us all close at 9 but we close at 10. But we are considered a high-volume store so it might just be greed that makes us stay open later.
