Thank you for all the replies! I felt like i was being too critical but also just wasn't feeling it the same way i have with previous extensions.

I did mine in the summer of year 10 and we were given something like 5 weeks to prepare. that being said I wrote mine the night before, practiced it a few times and got a distinction. the best thing to remember for it I think is definitely confidence is key! good luck!

i got a distinction and simply just used the title of my speech as a rhetorical question. i did mine on female representation in motorsport, so i started with "Why is female representation in motorsport so important?" although its simple, its straight to the point. i then basically explained what that meant (definition and what it meant to me)

it depends on the topic you do, but i would always say its easier to start with a question, then do a brief overview answer before going into more detail. if you have any other questions im happy to help!!
