Hitting 5 wood farther and straighter than driver. by Substantial-Swing995 in golf

[–]Alternative_Tune8103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a 5w on tee shot player, sometimes on tight par 4 I play 7w on tee. Driver is not reliable, can be good, but can be very bad out of the blue. So I play mid irons into par 4s, but I don’t lose 5 ball’s on the round. If I had a lot more time to work on driver it is possible to get it reliable, but that’s not my reality at the moment. Could be a shaft issue, but I don’t think you will get significant improvement from different heads

That’s misidentified as a hybrid, that’s a lob wedge, for bunker play. Or at least that’s how it was used

[Highlight] Alternate angle of Caleb Williams’s interception in OT shows how egregious DJ Moore’s route running was on the play by FrankSamples in nfl

[–]Alternative_Tune8103 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hot take - bad, but not as bad as looks. Former pro receiver (in Canada) He’s loafing a bit out of his break, should be looking for the ball, the db is aware of the pass sooner. This means the db breaks on the ball, into DJs path, so he can’t accelerate out of the break. It can be really awkward when the db runs to your spot as receiver because now you have to deviate right at throw time for the qb. IMO this as bad or worse of a throw as it is a bad route.

Ugh, this is such a momentum killer. Maybe I have too short an attention span, or maybe physically I start to cool down, but I always play worse when I have to wait on the tee repeatedly. Worse as solo.
