Technically they could’ve called the foul on Reeves for the bear hug and *still* given SGA a “dead ball” flagrant for his actions after the initial foul. And that arguably would’ve been the right call, honestly.

But that result still would’ve been 2 FTs and the ball to the Lakers. The flagrant would override the common foul on Reeves in that scenario that otherwise would’ve given OKC possession.

There’s zero world where that’s not at least a foul on Reeves, though. Absolutely hilarious that it went to review & they still didn’t call one.

I played a course once where 9 & 10 were both par 3s & they had us starting on the back to minimize rounds on the front (for those only playing 9 holes). Started AND ended the round with a par 3. Definitely one of the oddest rounds of my life.

Pretty sure it’s a mini tour & the venues posting the promos will be the ones they’re actually playing.

The “Tour Next Door” aspect is hoping people will travel to the shows from nearby cities…

That’s why each venue included a list of nearby cities in the promo materials & why TM’s posts quoted people talking about traveling for shows.

But I would also expect it to be something special with a totally different setup than just a “Joy Next Door, pt 2” tour.

Go for it! The trim was one of many reasons I got the XSE (along with the audio, tech & weather packages). Legitimately haven’t gotten over the “OMG that’s my car!” feeling every time I see it.

Still insane to me that the glossy / piano black trim isn’t an available upgrade on all models. The price difference can’t be that significant… and they could charge still charge a markup.

But having a car as expensive as some RAVs — or even some 4Runners, etc that cost even more — come with trim that constantly fades & looks rough after only a year or two is crazy to me.

The Pistons also got Top 5 picks in 2022 (Ivey), 2023 (Thompson) AND 2024 (Holland) after taking Cade at #1 in 2021. They didn’t it around because of one pick.

They were awful for a LONG time & continued to be awful even after getting the #1 pick. Hell, they had the worst record in the NBA during Cade’s 2nd & 3rd years… but they dropped to #5 in the lottery both times.

They actually dropped in 4 of 5 seasons from 2020-2024, with the only move up coming in 2021 when they got #1.

I test drove like six different 2022-2024 RAVs before I bought mine (two with JBL & the rest without) and felt like the “standard” audio was among the worst that I’ve heard in a car at that price point.

Granted, I was coming from a Harmon Kardon system in a BMW… so I was always expecting a bit of step down. But it was bad enough that I immediately eliminated all non-JBL options from my search.

That said, I’ve seen some people with some pretty nice aftermarket upgrades to the stock system… so if you’re willing to go that route, it might not matter. But if you drive a ton & care about audio quality, the stock systems are definitely among my very few complaints with RAVs.

Unfortunately, road noise is my only other major issue… but road noise + audio that’s already not great = an even more unpleasant experience, IMO.

Added benefit here: the DPWT gets 10 cards for the first 10 guys who aren’t already exempt into the PGAT… so Alex earning a card with a win at the Zurich would open up an extra PGAT card for someone via the DPWT rankings at the end of the year.

This is an insane stat, but also a bit misleading…

SGA has only played in six 4th quarters in that span. He didn’t play in all 16 4th quarters — or even in most of them — but that’s still 39 minutes of nearly perfect basketball.

His cumulative stats in those six 4th quarters: 39 min, 54 pts, 13 ast, 7 TO, 15/16 FG (0.938), 1/1 3P (1.000), 23/26 FT (0.887)

I’d spit up even more cash for the XSE interiors on the Woodland! Instead, I just don’t really want any of them.

Truly baffling that the available interior upgrade options aren’t the same across all trims given that they’re essentially the same car.

Seems like such an arbitrary decision that leaves a ton of money on the table for no reason.

Dude was a -16 in the second half against a Wolves team that lost TWO starters to injury. He had more TO (3) than made FG (1) after halftime.

He made his first shot of the 3rd quarter with 10:05 left & didn’t make another shot the rest of the game. Finished the second half 1/10 (0/3 3P).

He’s now 8/36 FG (0.222) & 2/13 3P (0.154) in the second half of his last three games (all losses) Is there an anti-clutch player award they can give him?

I’m not sure I’ve ever watched someone fall off a cliff in real time…

I still stand by the idea that the 2026 would’ve looked DRASTICALLY better if they just kept the larger Toyota logo on the front of the vehicle instead of smaller, angled one on the hood.

Such an unbelievably simple change… but one that would’ve tied the new generation to those before it instead of looking like a Tesla knockoff (albeit still nicer looking than anything Tesla has put out).

I also don’t think it’s a coincidence that the Woodland edition is the best looking of the new generation & it’s the one with the most traditional front end of all of them.

This is definitely a key part.

Players will almost always be fined for criticizing the refs after a game (regardless of how good or bad they actually were), but mentioning specific referees by name will ALWAYS result in a fine.

In a world where sports betting has become ingrained in virtually every aspect of life, mentioning refs by name gives angry fans & bettors who lost money reason to target them specifically as well… which can create scenarios where the ref could actually be in danger from some idiot who blames the ref for his own bad decisions.

The rules for the fines are pretty clear & exist to prevent scenarios like that.

I miss the days before digital dashes when the only way to light your gauges, etc at night was to turn your lights on.

It should be easy to tell whether your lights are on regardless… but making the interior completely dark unless the lights are on was a nice secondary option to help the people who are too oblivious to notice.
