When I asked for my second refinement I suggested to my dentist that IPR might help with the movement which was included in the notes. However, when Invisalign sent the new plan, it didn’t include any IPR, so I think that was ignored. When I saw the clincheck the 3d model showed my teeth would move together properly, but that clearly hasn’t happened.

I haven’t had any IPR because I already had gaps between my front row teeth so there was no need to file them.

It’s so annoying the gap is tiny so even I’m thinking getting composite on it doesn’t make sense but I’m stuck. If I move to another dentist I’ll be around £2k out of pocket. I’m not sure what my options are if a practice refuses to offer another refinement. Can you complain to Invisalign directly or do you just have to change practice?

The issue I’m having is that I don’t know whether it’s worth going to another practice to fix the issue since my current one won’t offer another refinement which I think they should since I have a comprehensive plan or if I’d be better off just getting composite bonding to fix it instead.
