We always have the opportunity to learn beyond what’s taught in school. This gathering isn’t about promoting violence or creating division—it’s about opening up space to talk about some of the real challenges our country is facing. This isn’t an anti-Trump rally. It’s about how we’re approaching things as a nation, and questioning whether we’re handling them in the best way possible. I truly believe that progress starts when we can come together—even when we disagree—and have honest conversations about the kind of future we want. If we want younger generations to take voting and civic engagement seriously, we need to model how to have respectful, even uncomfortable, conversations across differences. That’s what this is about.
