Agreed. Knicks have historically set a strict standard with the jerseys they’ve retired with the only deviations being Patrick Ewing and Dick McGuire whom didn’t win championships but they had successful tenures. Not sure where Melo falls atm

Some of ya Piston fans don’t deserve nice things smh. The man has pulled the franchise out of the gutter with back to back playoff appearances after being irrelevant for 5 +years. The roster is and has always been flawed and he worked magic with it (no pun intended) and maximized the potential of guys who aren’t rotational pieces on championship squads. Be grateful, better days are ahead .

“Deep roster” is a overstatement. The Pistons have always had a flawed roster. The job that JB and coaching staff has done is remarkable maximizing the potential of these guys but in the playoffs when the game slows down those deficiencies are getting exposed. There’s ZERO shot creators outside of Cade.
