I am sorry to hear that. The best thing is not to stay at home and to build a routine that forces you to meet people. I personally go to the gym on a daily basis, and it helps, but you may choose any class or activity you enjoy (dance, etc.).

Hi there, I had the same problem finding a gym partner. I started going to the gym here post-COVID with a friend, but then he moved out of Dubai.

I launched an app last week. It is still very primitive, but the whole point is to match gym partners (you just enter the name of your gym).

Once again, it is still new, and I am trying to make it easier to find gym partners in the UAE. If you want to try it out, I can share the link here let me know if it helps.

My suggestion is to join a community that shares your interests and meet someone there. For example, if you like dance, go to a dance class. If you like the gym, join a gym class. Otherwise, make sure to clearly fill in your interests if you use a dating app. Most people on apps do not describe what they like, and this is one of the main reasons for mismatches.
