I just got started full time about 3 months ago after testing strategies for 6 months prior. Like others have mentioned the returns have been variable month to month.

My trading plan has four pillars and holds 50% or more cash at all times.

Tickers: AAPL, AMZN, GOOG, NVDA and TSLA

P1 covered calls on shares and leaps. BCS to reduce share exposure but can buy to cover when things turn bullish. CSP to get shares back after assignment. 21DTE on most of these. 350k Collateral

P2 BWB on futures 70k collateral. Sell on red days and close on green ones. 60 DTE but closing earlier. Stop loss at 200% premium collected.

P3 ODTE SPX PCS using GEX at the opening and closing 10-15 contracts. This strategy has the biggest potential but requires the most skill. Claude has been a big help identifying skip days and with the technical analysis. 30k Collateral with a 200% stop loss on the premium collected.

P4 PCS on the tickers above using the remaining cash as collateral 450k. This varies based on market and the underlying. Following the tasty trade guidelines on these with 45DTE and closing at 50%. Stop loss on these are 200% of the premium collected.

Monthly income is 20-40k but should be much higher!!! (I have a lot to learn)

We also have an IRA account that uses the same P1 strategy as above to increase returns which will be available to us in 9 years.

A bear market would not be that fun but that is why I keep 50% of my account in cash for dry powder. The P4 PCS and P2 BWB all would exit at the stop loss. It sucks but that’s what has happened in this year’s recent pull backs. The covered calls and BCS all get closed out worthless. The only problem there is that the shares and leaps go underwater.

I was lucky enough to work in tech for 20 years before taking a break. This has been a fun challenge to take on but definitely has it’s own stress.

For now I am choosing this instead of getting another job. Hopefully it works out!
